Thank you for accepting the role of convenor for this year.

Your job is vital to the health of our club.  By keeping a watchful eye on participation and encouraging those not playing to join in, you are enabling maximum satisfaction of all players.

When it is your turn, please….

Ask the chair to make an announcement at the beginning of Bridge play the week before your duty begins:

e.g.  The next series is the …………..  The convenor for this series is ………….

Please make sure your partnership is written in the book.

If you are available as a fill in, please also note this in the book.

Take home the pink book and bring it to Bridge each week so players can update it.

Look to see which partnerships are playing in the series.  Phone those not playing and encourage participation.

Monitor your phone during your period of duty.  If you are away for a day or two, check messages. 

If a member phones you looking for a partner, endeavour to find them one.
